Michael Guest
Michael Guest is a very well-established Chartered Housing Professional and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), with extensive expertise across the housing sector. He is much sought after as a consultant and trainer. As well as the professional diploma in Housing, Michael holds a master’s degree (Distinction) in Housing Studies, a master’s degree (Merit) in Leadership and Management, and a postgraduate certificate (Distinction) in Corporate Governance.
Michael has advised and supported many housing providers in achieving and demonstrating compliance with the regulatory Consumer Standards. His work encompasses both the quality of ongoing operational landlord services and organisational preparedness for successful regulatory inspection. In this capacity, he has worked successfully with mainstream housing providers as well as organisations delivering more specialist forms of housing.
Michael consistently receives highly positive feedback for his training, which is often described as conversational and engaging, while remaining highly professional.
